In embarking on the "Bali Photographic Journey," my motivation was to delve deeper into the heart of this enchanting island, beyond the well-trodden tourist paths. Bali, with its captivating beauty and rich cultural tapestry, beckoned me to explore its hidden facets through the lens of street photography. It became a quest to uncover the essence of Bali, to decipher what lies beneath the surface, often concealed from the casual traveler's eye. Simultaneously, I found myself grappling with the pressing issue of overtourism that this paradise faces. Through this project, I sought to raise awareness about the challenges posed by excessive tourism, and the delicate balance between preserving the island's authenticity while sharing its splendor with the world. "Bali Photographic Journey" became my way of both capturing the allure of Bali and contemplating the impact of its popularity on its very soul.
